About Rebecca

I provide grinds on a one-to-one basis, and teach grinds in science, English, math, Irish, geography and English as a second language. I would be grateful if you got in touch directly or passed my contact details on to any parent who may be interested in getting grinds and/or homework help for their child/children. I have a QQI level 8 in arts and humanities, where I received a double major in English and theology and minored in philosophy. I am also TEFL qualified and have completed a QQI level 6 in children with additional needs. I have also completed the Children First Programme and have a QQI level 5 in early years learning. I also have pediatric first aid. I have experience as a TEFL teacher, a substitute teacher, a C.L.A.S.S. teacher and also a grinds teacher. I have experience teaching all age groups and have a passion for teaching and enjoy helping students improve their understanding of subjects. I have received great feedback from past students who felt more confident and better prepared for their school day. I provide one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building confidence and mastering exam techniques to tackle any question with ease. I have experience teaching four-year-olds up to junior certificate in science, English, math, Irish and geography. I also have experience teaching English as a second language to nine-year-olds right up to fifty-six-year-olds. I also have experience with children on the autism spectrum, dyscalculia, dyslexia, ADD, ADHD and dyspraxia etc.

About the lesson

I provide one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building confidence and mastering exam techniques to tackle any question with ease. I create lesson plans, and teach the students English, with a focus on oral English. The lessons are typically one hour long, and are very interactive.
