About Ana
I am a graduate student of Sociology at the Panteion University of Social and Political Studies in Greece. I have been teaching English ESOL/ ESL for 7 years in Greece which came as an urge to fill my passion for teaching. I also teach modern greek and ancient greek. Apart from the language lessons, I love to teach creative writing and literature. I can also help with editing/proofreading and translations (English- Greek, Greek-English).
I have taken lessons of English Literature and Language and I have grown up at an almost native english speaking environment. I create a community of passionate learners with my students, as I love teaching and its potentials.

I give lessons to students of all levels. I give specialized lessons on subjects such as: sociology, criminology, literature, writing, reading for those who want to learn English in a creative way. I use a student-centered approach to learning. Despite the fact that I coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, I also try to give them te time they need to feel confident and safe through the process of learning. Feeling confident is the key to achieve language learning. I combine high and low tech methods like differentiated instruction, inquiry-based learning, expeditionary learning etc. My students and I create the schedule and the curriculum of our lessons together when it is possible.
