English teacher (Ph.D. in Language & Literacy) with expertise preparing ELL's for university-level courses.

Ms. Lisa has been my writing mentor since 2019. She has traveled abroad and lived in a foreign country for many years. We discuss our experiences of being surrounded by multiple cultures. She has not only been working with me on my writing journey of self-discovery but also tutors me in my courses for elementary education. It is the generosity of Ms. Lisa to be part of my journey to help me make it through difficult college courses and my struggle with identity.

Lisa is a wonderful person. Lisa and I met each other in a doctoral program at a social justice-oriented university. Lisa has been very helpful in proofreading, providing careful and critical feedback on my work, as well as showing her genuine care for multilingual learners. I believe Lisa would continue bringing her love, care, and criticality in supporting future students in all of the spaces she will be in.
