About Miller Santiago

I am teacher from the National University of Colombia, Bogotá. I have experience as a teacher of personalized classes for children, teenagers and adults from about 6 years, as well as experience as a teacher of larger classes of between 20 and 30 students for pre-university courses.

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on grammar, phonetics, production and comprehension of spoken and written texts and varies depending on the student. For children and teenagers, I approach the components through original language material such as movies, videos, news, games, hypothetical situations, role-playing games, recreational activities (for children without directly touching technical components of the language; eventually these components will be treated). For adults the class is focused first on the technical component (rules and use of the language) and immediately to the linguistic production with what was learned. However depending on the student, his personality and way of learning whether adult, young or child I can use all the above methods mentioned.
