About Jamie

I have a BA (hons) in English and a Cert.TESOL. I've worked in schools in Oxford and Southampton and have helped lots of students to pass IELTS/FCE/CAE/CPE exams and get into university and employment both in the UK and in their home countries. I've also been able to help many others to develop more general English skills. Pronunciation and IELTS are my speciality.

About the lesson

I've been teaching skills (speaking/listening/reading and writing) and systems (vocabulary/grammar and pronunciation) to classes from beginner (A0) to Advanced (C1/2+) for 5 years. Additionally, as Student Support Adviser and Safeguarding Deputy, I feel I helped my students feel safe, important and able to maximise their learning experience.
