I think that each person requires an approach designed to their qualities and needs. In a traditional class this idea can be difficult to apply, but with individual private lessons can be profiled in a couple of sessions effective and entertaining method. Depending on each student, you can choose to follow a textbook with the specific content that must assimilate; focus on conversations and use of colloquial or formal language for people who do not need a formal education, but an approach to practical use (for travel or business); and finally, with children up to a certain age I usually very effective use of songs and games as well as the immersion method (during classes only English spoken).
