About Joshua
As a tutor, I enjoy working with different students with varying goals and identities. I will provide a safe space for students to express themselves while maintaining their academic progress and sharpening their tools in an academic setting. When I work with students, I make sure to meet them where they are so that they can grow up to their best of their abilities.

My methods consist of utilizing what the student already knows and enhancing their understanding through breaking it down into little steps so that they understand the bigger picture and encouraging the student when they begin to gain understanding. A typical lesson plan will usually consist of helping a student learn and master a skill by a certain deadline. As a tutor, I strive for students to enhance their skills not only in the classroom but in interactions with others. These lessons are for the middle school and high school levels.
