About Anya
I am a native English speaker with a first class degree in English Language and Linguistics with a Year Abroad from the University of Kent. Included in this course were modules on Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I had an 11-year-old Spanish student whilst on my Year Abroad in Madrid and have also had experience teaching refugees English whilst at the university in my final year.

I believe that to have the best results with a student you need to accommodate your teaching to their personal needs. This means that I do not follow the same structure with every student.
Some students benefit from sessions largely focused on dialogue to improve their confidence and fluency whilst others are better suited to worksheets and grammar-based exercises.
My aim is to work out what your specific personal targets are and devise lessons to suit your individual needs to help you achieve your intended goals.
