About Markéta
Every class is different, depending on students and their needs. I believe in natural language acquisition and the importance of realia (objects and materials from everyday life) used as a teaching aid. Of course grammar and vocabulary are important when learning a language but not everyone likes to learn the rules by heart, I am trying to avoid that and engage grammar and new vocabulary via practice and enjoyable activities. As a teacher I like to set goals to keep students motivated and encourage their interest in learning the language. Also, I avoid the use of maternal language and try to "keep it in English" the whole time.

I was particularly impressed by Markéta's ability to teach those who particularly knew nothing about English like me. This ability literally takes years to develop among teaching professionals, but it seems very natural to do.
