About Sharon
I have been teaching for over 20 years in a variety of venues, including a major university, a community college, several ESL schools, and private students. I've been with the Beverly Hills Lingual Institute for the past 11 years, and I am in the top 10% of teachers in the school. I have taught over a thousand successful students from all over the world and currently have private Skype students in Switzerland, France, Venezuela, Israel, Japan, Belgium, Poland, and Mexico. I am also a published author of three books currently on the market, and I'm working on number four.

My lessons are student centered, lively, interesting, and filled with imaginative ideas that speed up the learning process. I love my job, and I love to see the light in my students' eyes when they understand the lesson. I stress correct grammar, reading, and correct American pronunciation. My Spanish is limited but enough to teach Spanish speakers with comparative ease. We do lots of conversation and frequent reviews to make sure the lessons are truly understood and that the student can put to use immediately. We also practice listening and repeating.
