About Morgan

When I was only 15, I was hired as an instructor at a math tutoring company called Mathnasium. There, I worked for up to 35 hours per week tutoring up to 50 students per week, both online and in person. I have tutored up to 4 students at a time ranging from kindergarteners to Calculus 2. When I was 17, I was promoted to assistant director, not only being the top instructor at my company but also communicating with parents, assessing math skills, and training more than 5 instructors with how to successfully teach math. I also excelled in math courses myself, completing classes through Calculus 3 and receiving an 800 on my math SAT in my senior year of high school. Since I left for college and am no longer able to tutor for Mathnasium, I have decided to break off and help people on my own. However, I still practice my love of STEM every day studying to be an Aerospace Engineer at Purdue! My students have shown great levels of success and a love of math. One of my students failing his algebra 1 class received a B on his final with my tutelage, and one of my current students just received an 87% on an exam where "none of her classmates knew what to do" because the teacher didn't teach it well. I make sure to approach problems in multiple different ways to see which one is easiest to remember for that student. Everyone thinks in a unique way, and it's important to cater to that.

About the lesson

I teach online lessons that emphasize learning where math comes from and making sure students have a strong fundamental knowledge of math. My goal is to help math make sense for people so that they can learn to do it on their own. My typical lesson is doing a little bit of review on a student's weak points and then moving onto their current lesson plan (what they're learning about in class). My lessons are for any students below or at the college level, ranging from classes in first grade to Calculus 3. All I need to know is the subject you're working on and what you feel like you're struggling with. I'm always excited to share my love of math with new people!
