About Varun
As a ninth grader, I previously had no specific interest in math - infact, I disliked it! However, I made a decision to put aside my hatred and dive into the subject with a new mindset. It was then in my grade 10 math class where my interest for the subject sprouted. Before the end of that grade 10 year, I mastered topics that ranged up to grade 12 Pre-calc. I relaized that if I was able to do this, I can help others do the same.

I value understanding of fundamental concepts in any subject. I will place an emphasis on gaining a firm grasp on concepts, go through with any necessary derivations and then lead into practical uses of the topics.
I have been a math tutor at my highschool for the past 4 years, helping students with improving test scores and answering questions.
I realize that students sometimes feel restricted and limited when communicating with teachers. As a teen student myself, I am able to connect and communicate with a diverse group of students from grades 4-12 and understand them better.
