About Simona

I am a girl enrolled in the second year of Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano and coming from a scientific high school.
As my path suggests, I love everything related to the world of science and mathematics and for this reason, for some years now , I help young people who find it difficult to learn these subjects.

In addition to giving repetitions of mathematics, I am also available for those of English; during my fourth year of high school I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a year abroad, particularly in Vancouver, Canada. This experience has improved my knowledge of the language from every point of view.

For five years I have been the animator of summer camps and parish oratories, so I am used to relating to children who attend elementary school. In addition, for two years I have been helping middle school children with their homework thanks to a homework help project organized by my school.

About the lesson

I am in love with the scientific world and it is this passion of mine that drives me to want to help young people who find it difficult or find the subjects connected to it "unpleasant". As for English, my annual stay in Canada has allowed me to improve and perfect my knowledge of the language.

In a first lesson I explore the territory, trying to understand what are the problems of the student and the any gaps, so that an effective strategy for its learning can be developed.

During the lessons, if necessary, I use animations, videos or images which, in my opinion, are often fundamental to fix the concepts. In addition, I dedicate myself to the subject by transmitting notions and helping the boy with exercises that go hand in hand with the program he is carrying out.

È un'insegnante molto disponibile, chiara e paziente: spiega in modo semplice ma sempre completo. È in grado di trasportati nella matematica con leggerezza e una professionalità da farti passare il tempo senza accorgersene. È anche molto gentile e simpatica.
L'anno scorso sono riuscita a recuperare il debito grazie alle sue lezione pomeridiane e quest'anno sento di essere partita con il piede giusto grazie al consolidamento della materia e all'aiuto ricevuti da Simona.
