Hi my names fin, I’m 16 and currently an Engineer student at college with 5+ GCSE grades including an A* in English.
I like to play sports and go to the gym as it is very good for exercise.

My methods would tend to include:
Getting a good understanding of common day to day words with the correct pronunciation.
I would then progress into sentences and putting different words together to form nice simple sentences.
Eventually I would tend to look at forming more complex sentences and also how you can respond to a question that someone may ask you.
Sometimes we could try and have a formal conversation to see how you are improving!
