About Oscar

Hi, I’m Oscar — an Engineering Physics graduate who loves turning tough math into clear, doable steps. I’ve helped students at many levels build real confidence with calculus, precalculus, statistics, and core math, using a calm, structured approach that focuses on understanding first and speed/accuracy second. I’m patient, approachable, and big on showing why methods work, not just how to copy them.

About the lesson

My sessions are tailored to your goals and current skill level, with a mix of explanation, guided practice, and strategy:

Concept Clarity: Straightforward explanations for limits, derivatives, integrals, series, probability, and distributions.

Problem-Solving Frameworks: Step-by-step methods you can reuse on homework, quizzes, and exams.

Targeted Practice: Custom problem sets and walkthroughs to close gaps quickly.

Precalculus Foundations: Functions, graphing, transformations, trig identities, exponentials/logs to prep you for calculus.

Statistics Skills: Descriptive stats, normal/binomial distributions, sampling, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing.

Core Math Refreshers: Algebra fluency, equation solving, inequalities, systems, and word-problem decoding.

️ Study Plans & Exam Prep: Checklists, formula sheets, and timing strategies for tests and finals.

Tools & Style: visual aids, annotated steps, and plenty of reps—so concepts stick and anxiety drops.
