About James
I am a recent environmental engineering graduate who has been tutoring since 2015. I intend to pursue a graduate degree in microbiology beginning in the fall of 2021. I am able to tutor all levels of high school math and science, and have worked extensively with students who have learning disabilities.

In my teens I spent a lot of time teaching in outdoor settings. In so doing, I developed an affinity for the EDGE method of teaching. This stands for explain, demonstrate, guide, enable. I have found that the third step is where students typically get lost in classrooms, and where my help is most needed.
