About Brandon
I am a bioengineering graduate with a strong background in mathematics, science, and problem solving. My academic experience has taken me from foundational math through advanced calculus, statistics, and engineering courses, giving me a broad understanding of how mathematical concepts connect and build upon one another.
Math did not always come easily to me, so I understand how frustrating it can feel when an explanation moves too quickly or skips important steps. That experience shaped me into a patient and encouraging tutor who explains concepts clearly and never assumes prior understanding. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and develop the confidence to solve problems independently.

My lessons focus on helping students understand why each step works not simply memorizing formulas. I explain concepts clearly, show every step, and adjust my teaching approach to match each student’s learning style and current level.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the student’s goals and any areas of confusion. I then teach the necessary concepts, work through examples, and guide the student through similar problems independently. We finish by reviewing key ideas and identifying what to practice next.
My engineering background allows me to connect mathematical concepts to practical applications. I work with students from elementary school through college in algebra, geometry, statistics, precalculus, and calculus. Whether you need help with homework, test preparation, catching up, or getting ahead, lessons are personalized to help you become a more confident and independent problem solver.
