About Hannah

I am 25 years old and have completed a BEng civil engineering degree at Stellenbosch University, followed by an MSc degree in Europe. I received a high distinction for core maths in matric, as well as passed AP (advanced program) maths, and have since worked with maths extensively throughout my degrees. I have experience tutoring junior and high school maths, and am happy to tutor any age group.

About the lesson

I begin the first tutor session by getting to know the learner and assessing where they are at in terms of their academic level/understanding. I then outline the main objectives or areas of focus, and the following sessions are aimed at achieving these objectives at a pace that is best suited to the learner. I have been described as a patient tutor, who enjoys using summaries/rhymes/pictures to help the learner remember concepts.
