Actually i believe that making students aware of what they are studying will help them , than just going in an exam point of view. So i mainly use graphical methods.
For example quadratic equation or polynomial equation may seem very hard as long as they dont know about the real concept of roots and solutions, with the help of a graph it can be explained very easily
