About Vicky
I grew up in New Zealand after immigrating with my family from Hong Kong in the 1990s. I understand exactly how you feel as an ELL student new to the country and new to a school that you are not familiar with! Let me help you understand how NZ schools work and how to make the most of your time at school by fast-tracking your English learning! I am fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin so lessons can be bilingual when needed or preferred.

It can be a huge cultural shock for your child to start school in New Zealand (as I found out first-hand)! I am here to help make it a little easier by bringing them up to speed with their conversational English, as well as reading and writing. This will boost their confidence and help them enjoy school a lot sooner!
With both personal and professional experience with the NZ school system I am here to understand how NZ school works and how to find both enjoyment and success sooner!
Lessons can be taught in English/ Mandarin/ Cantonese depending on student ability or preference.
