About Misty
I currently tutor elementary students from America and Taiwan in literacy and math with experience in helping many ages from other countries living outside the USA to experience a clear, easy to follow American accent. I am sincere and hard-working and am quickly adapted to all age groups and professional levels since I have over a decade of experience in an administrative, accounting, and legal workplace within a very large and highly-awarded law firm.

My lessons use clear and fun with colorful visuals that help students retain what they learn. I am a patient, happy and friendly tutor who understands shyness and/or those with urgent need to progress. My phonics lessons help student have perfect American accents as well as a high level of comprehension .I also help with learning the way Americans use slang and/or idiomatic phrases that can be very confusing. My goal is also to help learners understand the base-root words so further comprehension is available in relation to how English has a background word bank that is based in Latin, Greek, French, and others.
