About Amy
My teaching philosophy is teaching the whole child. I believe that you should teach all students no matter their skill set or background into your class, so all students have the same learning opportunities. I am passionate about making sure that all students have the same opportunity for learning experiences while making sure that they are making individualized achievable strides towards their academic goals. By teaching with differentiation and creating an environment where differences are celebrated allows students to strive academically compared to not seeing themselves represented within the classroom. Overall, this is my philosophy because all students can strive academically in their own way while hitting the same academic goals as your “typical” student would.
