About Marybeth
"Teaching began when I noticed how often students felt paralysed by strict grammar rules while trying to order coffee abroad. The sound of a student finally finding their rhythm in a new language keeps me engaged in this work. I hold a BA Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh and have spent 7 years refining methods that balance textbook accuracy with real world usage.
