About Daniele

I am an economics graduate with specialisation in Marketing studies. I am bi-lingual (Italian-American father, Italian mother) and I lived and work in London for many years. I am currently working as a Marketing Manager. My CEFR English level's C1 (certified).

About the lesson

The lessons I offer are founded on a pragmatic approach: method and criteria for teaching English cannot disregard student's peculiarities, level of ability and specific goals.

First lesson is on me and it's an entry test made to and for the benefit of student only, in order to have a clear picture and identify student's gaps and desired end-point, thus developing a learning plan, drawn up in advance on these necessary premises.

Learning plan tailored on student's peculiarities, identifies functions, grammar, subjects and lexis for each lesson and it is interspersed with mid-term tests, aimed at verifying learning progress and with the objective of making adjustments if needed.

Lessons have different structures for different goals and can be focused sometimes on purely functional aspects of grammar and lexis, sometimes on a more practical, hands-on approach. Be that as it may, principal lessons' purpose is to build and maintain an interactive educational route and, thanks to that, trigger and arouse curiosity and inspire dedication to the English language. The ultimate goal is to develop a student's ability to understand and make him/herself understood, to efficiently communicate concepts, emotions and thoughts, in different contexts and for different aims.

Each learning plan has a final, CEFR based test, for assessing abilities and verification of the four main language skills learned throughout the course, in order to make a practical and measurable comparison between student's starting level and achieved results.

Perfect! Daniele è un professore a tutto tondo.E' una persona innanzitutto professionale. Sin da subito ha saputo individuare i miei punti forti, le mie lacune e insicurezze. Su queste ultime ha sviluppato un programma di studio personalizzato al dettaglio ed è stato capace di centrare i miei obiettivi. Indubbiamente preparatissimo, è anche gentile e simpatico. Le lezioni sono interessanti e coinvolgenti e sono meticolosamente preparate su misura.
E' tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno quando si vuole migliorare il livello della lingua inglese.
Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti quelli che come me sentono il bisogno di raggiungere un inglese fluente.
