About Sabas

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, France, and have extensive experience in higher education as a university professor, academic administrator, and educational leader.

For more than two decades, I have been dedicated to teaching, mentoring students, and promoting academic excellence. I served as an Associate Professor of Economics at Andrews University in Michigan, where I also held academic leadership positions, including Associate Dean of the College of Professions.

Throughout my academic career, I have taught students from diverse educational, cultural, and international backgrounds. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching methods to individual learning needs.

I am passionate about making mathematics, statistics, and economics accessible, understandable, and enjoyable. I believe that with patience, encouragement, and the right guidance, every student can develop confidence and achieve meaningful academic progress.

I teach in English and French and can also communicate in Spanish. I am committed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.

One of the most meaningful compliments I have received from my students is that I “make mathematics speak.” I believe this reflects my ability to bring abstract concepts to life, explain complex ideas in simple and relatable ways, and help students discover the beauty and logic underlying mathematics, economics, and statistics.

With a Ph.D. in Economics and extensive university teaching experience, I offer personalized online tutoring in mathematics, statistics, and economics.
