About Ian
Over thirty five years experience teaching all examination boards. I have been private tutoring since 2014 with 95% of my tutees gaining a B, A or A* at A level despite the large majority being predicted by their school, low final grades. I can pass on my considerable experience so that my students learn how to easily structure written answers to gain their target grade.

I have a huge amount of successful A level experience both online and face to face which has really helped my tutees gain the top grades they seek. I place a lot of concentration on improving examination technique and helping my students realise their potential by always referring to the ways examiners look to award marks. I ensure students can gain a real understanding of both Economics and\or Business by making the theory and models come alive and become relevant rather than just learnt concepts. My aim is to develop the all important skills of knowledge, analysis, application and evaluation so my tutees can gain top grades.
