About JEROME

A thespian at heart but no stranger to the screen, both big and small. With over 14 years in the business I know what it takes to keep on going and to get that next job! A laidback but concise teaching style. An avid Arsenal fan and lover of both the spoken word and the written expression of it. I enjoy kickboxing, Pilates and console gaming.

About the lesson

As an actor still working often, I know what it takes to stay in this business, the skills and attention required to lift the text from the page. To be able to bring the truth to life. With years of teaching in schools and colleges my style is aimed at getting you ‘match ready’ for auditions, the rehearsal room and the performance itself. With techniques of how to use the voice and the body to hone your craft and performance. Initially I aim to open a dialogue with you to understand what you expect from our sessions, the industry and yourself. I strongly believe that acting is as much a way of life as it is a career or craft. I aim to blend the two together through breath work, text and meditation.

Having worked closely with Jerome on a five Month theatre tour I can most definitely recommend him. Often times I would confide in him for my character development and vocal warm up, Both of which significantly improved. He was patient and tailored himself to the style of each person that sought his advice. To top it off he was a dream to work with, I only hope we have the opportunity to do so again.
