About Laura
Hello! This is Laura. I am Spanish and I speak English fluently since I was little. I'm always living and travelling around the world and that is why I offer English classes online. I've been teaching for more than 5 years in language centers, university, and as a private teacher, all at an international level. I have just graduated from university in Japan and have returned to Europe to study a masters degree. With my young adults and adult students I generally:
- Prepare official exams such as TOEFL, First Certificate, IELTS, SAT.
- Teach BUSINESS ENGLISH in order to improve their fluency, language and understanding when communicating in specific situations that require the use of English at work (conference call, presentation skills, business email, job interview, logistics .. .)
-Practice General English for CONVERSATION: vocabulary reinforcement, pronunciation, colloquial expressions.
With children (I have experience with students from 3 to 11 years old) I generally :
-Implement dynamic games that include: music, storytelling and TPR (total physical response) with the aim of exposing them to the language in a fun way, learning vocabulary and basic expressions naturally.
- Reinforce the topics / contents studied in school through playful activities (NOT memorizing or studying from the textbook, but preparing in a fun and effective way so that they practice the contents without realizing it).
- Prepare the official exams for children: Starters, Movers, Flyers, PET and KET.
I like to be creative and active when organizing and giving classes, but I also appreciate preparing based on the students ideas or preferences, I have total flexibility. If you think I can help you, do not hesitate to write me. x Laura

Dynamic methodology based on active learning. Implementing grammar, new vocabulary, expressions, etc., I prepare activities in which everything is complemented and, above all, the skills of speaking and listening are reinforced. For my business English students I prepare more specific activities, such as role plays of situations such as interviews, calls ... or development of formal emails. With children I usually use games, music, videos, or story telling. Depending on the needs and objectives of the student, I prepare one style of class or another. I am always flexible to what they think and what they feel works better or worse for them. Thus each class is innovative.
