About Luke
I am a recent Arabic and Russian graduate from Durham Unversity. I receieved a 2:1 in this degree, with first class results in Russian and Russian for Professional Communication modules, including a distinction in spoken Russian.
I currently work with my Russian language abilities, being employed by a major translation agency in the centre of Moscow.
I have amassed a good amount of experience teaching English to Russians while on my year abroad, dealing a range of clients from young students to impressive business people and corporate teams. I also have experience tutoring Russian to younger students at university.

I'm offering lessons to anyone learning Russian, from beginner level to GCSE to people needing a little extra help with their degree.
As a former student of Russian, I understand the challenges of the langugage and I am sympathic to mistakes made. After all, I was making those very same mistakes only a few years ago.
My teaching style is informal and friendly. I focus on using Russian and not only 'learning it'. While at times we need to focus on grammar and other techincal aspects, I believe that it is essential that learning Russian is exciting, fun and useful. Therefore we need to experience the language, achieved by speaking, reading interesting texts, books and news articles and watching videos, vlogs etc..
