About Bhawani

I have always loved Science and Mathematics because they help us understand the hidden logic behind the world around us. I find it fascinating how basic concepts can explain everyday experiences. For instance, food takes longer to cook in the hills because lower atmospheric pressure causes water to boil at a lower temperature, which means the food itself cooks at a lower temperature. When I am able to visualize concepts like these, it makes me deeply appreciate the beauty and logic of the world we live in.

I was academically gifted from a young age. After completing my schooling at Delhi Public School R.K. Puram, one of the most prestigious schools in India, I secured an All India Rank of around 2,500 among more than a million students who appeared for the JEE examination. I subsequently graduated in first division from Delhi Technological University with a degree in Computer Science Engineering.

Since then, I have worked across multiple domains and industries. I have managed technology products as a Product Manager, building custom apps and websites for various businesses. I later led operations, strategy, and expansion at Broomees, a startup working with domestic workers in India, where I managed large-scale operations, expanded the company into new cities, and acted as the primary product owner for the company’s CRM and website.

Alongside my professional work, I have also worked to revitalize my village in Himachal Pradesh. I brought together multiple farmers to create a common land bank and, with support from the Asian Development Bank and the Government of India, helped establish orchards across previously barren land to make it productive. I now also run an agro-tourism and farmstay venture there.

To me, teaching has always been joyful. I genuinely enjoy explaining ideas to people and love seeing the “light bulb” moment when a concept finally clicks. I also love learning from others. Studying can sometimes feel burdensome, but learning itself is always exciting.

About the lesson

Science and Mathematics are not subjects to be memorized — they are systems to be understood and simulated.

Middle school is one of the most important stages in a student’s academic journey because it shapes the way they think about learning for the rest of their lives. When Science and Mathematics are taught through rote memorization instead of understanding, many students begin to fear these subjects and lose confidence in their abilities. I believe every child is capable of understanding complex concepts if they are taught in a way that helps them truly visualize and experience them.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals and conceptual clarity rather than simply preparing students for exams. Once students understand the core principles behind a topic, advanced concepts begin to feel like natural extensions of the same ideas. This not only improves academic performance but also develops logical thinking and curiosity.

To make lessons engaging and intuitive, I use real-world examples, analogies, and storytelling techniques that connect abstract concepts to everyday experiences. My goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and developing confidence in STEM subjects.

My classes are best suited for middle school students who want to build a strong foundation in Science and Mathematics and develop the analytical mindset needed for future STEM studies. I aim to give my students the same strong scientific thinking and conceptual understanding that I was fortunate to receive from my own teachers.
