About Uma
I’ve been tutoring math for over 8 years, and I hold a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science. My work focuses on helping middle school students who struggle with foundational algebra. I often teach linear equations, polynomial expressions, and basic functions. These topics become easier when explained clearly. I use fun puzzles to spark curiosity. Real-world examples help students connect math to everyday life. My step-by-step methods guide them from confusion to confidence. I’ve worked with many different learning styles and personalities.
