About Christian
Having worked in various aspects of the industry from plays, to musicals, to TV, I have a wealth of knowledge on what drama schools are looking for from prospective students. Over the years, I have professionally auditioned over five hundred times and understand how nerve-wracking it can be.
I graduated from The Central School of Speech and Drama in London in 2014.
I have been in productions across the West End and in regional theatres such as; Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Magic Goes Wrong, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Romeo and Juliet, The Commitments and Apple TV's 'The Enfield Poltergeist'.

Whether it's a West End show or a self-tape for a new TV show or film, I still get nervous. That's absolutely normal. The thing I've learnt over the years is that you need to be totally secure in whatever you're bringing into the room. Knowing the text inside out is the best remedy. I want you to be feeling so confident and sure of what you're doing that if those inevitable feelings arise in the moment, you're totally prepared to focus and carry on.
My coaching is rooted in techniques such as, 'Stanislavski, Meisner and Chekhov.' The main thing I will teach you is to be taking full ownership of the text, feeling like the words are truly yours and that you're completely confident and ready for your audition. This will also include self-taping technique and will get you feeling secure in front of the camera.
Lesson length will be 60 minutes for ages 16+. I do also teach younger students at my theatre school, 'Swish', (ages 3-15) that I run with my partner in Fareham, so I can tailor lessons to a more general acting lesson or LAMDA Exam preparation, rather than just drama school coaching. For younger children I suggest 30 minutes in length.
