About Helen
I am a current Musical Theatre student at Associated Studios, have recently graduated with a 2:1 in BA Drama and English Literature from the University of Birmingham and have achieved a Distinction in ABSRM Grade 8 Classical Singing. I have vocal and academic knowledge as well as plenty of practical experience.
I have a full DBS certificate.

I believe in allowing students' opinions to be heard, and learning in a relaxed environment. I am very interested in character work and confident choices. I will ask the student the specifics of what they would like to work on and take the lesson step by step - first, briefly analysing text in either a song or monologue, and then working practically. I am very keen to allow the student to play around with different techniques to encourage them to reach their highest potential in the most positive way possible.
