About Dané
I’m a professional TV and film actress and a BA Drama and Theatre Studies graduate from the University of Stellenbosch. With experience on set and behind the scenes, I offer a practical, industry-informed approach to acting. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where actors can explore, take risks, and grow in confidence without fear of judgment. My coaching focuses on authentic performance, voice development, and real audition techniques that work. Whether you’re starting out or refining your craft, I’m here to help you feel grounded, empowered, and ready to step into any room.

Through my experience as a theater and film performer and part-time occupation in the production field for local film & television- production companies, I am equipped to teach all ages, in Afrikaans or English, the following:
1) acting principles techniques to individuals or groups
2) conduct readings to evaluate students' talent
3) voice development, and dialects, using voice exercises, speech drills, explanation, lectures, and improvisation
4) discuss and demonstrates vocal body expression to teach acting styles, character development, and personality projection
5) rehearse drills with students to make sure they master their parts
6) audition processes (castings)
7) primary/high school drama curriculum and examination
8) school oral-examinations
9) building your confidence!
Above all else, I work with spontaneous and loving energy to teach all of the above in a creative way that will not only help develop your magnificent talent but also build magnetic confidence!
