As an Applied Mathematics and Physics double major I am confident in my ability to teach ideas of mathematics to any student. I am a firm believer in the idea that anyone can learn anything, so long as their teachers know how to teach them.

As a teacher I like to use real world application as much as possible to give students an actual sense of the math they are doing. A typical lesson plan would entail the explanation of the idea we will be learning and then continuing to practice with increasing difficulty until the student is confident in said subject. I am comfortable teaching students with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and Calculus 1 for the time being. As I continue further in my education I will be confident to teach more. I learned my way of teaching from my military service and am confident that I can adapt to any student's needs for learning.
