About Amit Kumar

I am currently pursuing my Master's in Industrial Mathematics with Computer Applications from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). With a strong foundation in real analysis, metric spaces, and limit points, I’m passionate about applying mathematical concepts to solve real-world problems through programming and data science. What drives me is not just theoretical understanding, but the ability to create practical, meaningful outcomes—whether it’s writing elegant code in C++, Python, HTML, and SQL, or visualizing complex mathematical structures to enhance learning. I take pride in being both methodical and emotionally connected to what I create. One of my favorite projects involved transforming old family memories into a sentimental video, blending creativity with technical skills.

About the lesson

- Conceptual Clarity First: Begin with intuitive examples before introducing formal definitions. For instance, use visualizations and real-life analogies to explain abstract ideas (e.g. comparing limit points to social hotspots in a city). - Layered Learning: Use a spiral approach—start with foundational ideas and gradually build complexity, looping back to reinforce earlier concepts. - Interactive & Visual Tools: Incorporate tools like graphs, dynamic sliders (Geogebra, Desmos), and Python visualizations for topics like calculus or linear algebra. - Applied Problem Solving: Give students real-world challenges (e.g., optimizing algorithms, decoding encrypted messages) that reveal the utility of mathematical thinking. - Gamified Practice & Feedback: Use quizzes, puzzles, or timed drills (like Pomodoro-style bursts) to keep engagement high, especially useful for entrance exams like GATE.
