About Mireya

Factoring polynomials and solving quadratic equations represent the core of my daily work. My method remains consistent. After 6 years in the classroom, I have refined how I teach students ranging from middle schoolers to college honors pupils.

These 6 years of dedication ensure I understand exactly where learners get stuck with exponents or inequalities. I built my teaching style around the student currently in front of me to ensure progress. We move through concepts until the math feels automatic rather than forced. My background from Boston University provides a strong foundation for simplifying complex systems of equations.

Starting with a concept like the quadratic formula, we move immediately into application. Concepts need to be seen in action.

I integrate real past-paper practice to provide a clear sense of actual exam requirements. Students appreciate the structure because it removes the mystery from difficult topics.

You will work through plenty of examples side by side with me. This repetition creates muscle memory for solving systems of equations.

Completing the square becomes much easier once you practice the steps consistently. The pace feels steady and calm throughout our time together. I prioritize patience during every single minute of the hour. Seeing a student finally grasp a difficult concept brings me the most joy.
