About Piper

Hi! My name is Piper, and I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at Sonoran University. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from San Diego State University, where I developed a strong foundation in science and critical thinking. I am passionate about helping students learn, build confidence, and develop problem-solving skills. My goal is to make challenging concepts easy to understand while creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and reaching their full potential.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on building confidence and helping students understand concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I adapt my teaching style to each student's learning needs and use interactive techniques such as visual examples, real-world applications, and guided practice to keep lessons engaging.

A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, working through examples together, independent practice, and a quick review at the end. I encourage students to ask questions and think through problems rather than simply memorizing answers.

As a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine student, I bring a strong academic background, patience, and a supportive teaching style. My lessons are best suited for elementary and middle school students seeking help with math, science, homework, and study skills.
