About Kristen

Hello! I’m Kristen, a dedicated tutor specializing in middle and high school subjects. I tailor my teaching methods to each student’s learning style, focusing on deep understanding and critical thinking rather than memorization. With experience in simplifying complex concepts and fostering a genuine interest in learning, I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence. Let’s work together to make learning both effective and enjoyable!

About the lesson

I create a supportive learning environment tailored to each student’s unique needs, adapting my methods to their learning style—whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. I emphasize active learning through questions, problem-solving, and critical thinking!

Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson starts with a review of previous material, followed by an introduction of new concepts with clear examples. Students then practice applying these concepts, and we end with a recap and discussion of any challenges. Additional resources or homework are provided as needed.

What Sets Me Apart
I focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills rather than just memorization. My ability to simplify complex ideas and foster genuine understanding helps students not only improve their grades but also develop a lasting interest in the subject.

Target Audience
I tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in subjects like math and science, catering to various academic levels and individual needs. I am excited to working with you to help you reach your academic goals even faster!
