About Jeffrey
I have been acting for most of my life and teaching adults in the community for the past 10 years. What I love about teaching acting is watching students grow in confidence, not only on stage but in their day-to-day life as well. My students range in age from 16-80. I use the Method Acting technique because I believe it helps actors to create realistic, authentic characters and it shows in their performances. However, after recently graduating with a Master of Creative Arts Therapy (majoring in drama therapy) I have adapted my teaching to include a trauma-informed approach.

I am an experienced actor and acting teacher whose technique has been influenced by Stanislavski, Demidov, Hagen and Strasberg. I am looking to teach adults (aged 18-80+) or small groups in-person or online. I believe in creating a safe space where actors can have fun and explore their senses, emotions, physicality and imagination. I encourage actors to use improvisation to create and develop characters for monologues and scenes.
