About Julian

Hi — I’m a Product Designer at Google with over 12 years of real-world experience. I've had the opportunity to design for brands you probably recognize — Netflix, ESPN, Bloomberg, NASA, and more. Design today is not just about making things look good — it’s about making them work, connect, and scale. That’s the lens I bring to teaching. For over 10 years, I’ve coached designers at many levels — whether you're learning UX for the first time, building your portfolio, or preparing for interviews. My goal is simple: to help you develop strong, practical design skills you can actually use — whether that's in a product team, a startup, or your own creative projects.

About the lesson

I offer personalized UX/UI Design, Product Design, and Brand Strategy coaching designed to help you stand out in today’s competitive design industry. My approach is practical, mentorship-based, and directly informed by 12+ years of experience as a Product Designer at Google and Creative Director for brands like Netflix, ESPN, Complex, Bloomberg, and NASA.

Every session is designed to simulate real-world design work — blending user experience, interface design, and product strategy with portfolio-building exercises.

Whether you're a university student, self-taught designer, or early-career professional (18+), I tailor lessons to your current level and growth goals.

You'll leave each session with actionable skills that you can apply immediately in your job, projects, or interviews.

What we cover (sample lessons & exercises):
• Building portfolio-ready UX case studies UX research synthesis & user journey mapping

• Wireframing & UI layout fundamentals (Figma & industry tools) Product strategy & feature prioritization frameworks
