About Adeline
Hi!
My name is Adeline! I currently live in Texas and I absolutely love English, accents and all! I graduated with my Bachelors in Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2021 and have been volunteering as a teacher ever since. I also have a TESOL certificate and a background in communications/public speaking. I am adaptive and flexible, and most of all, I'm confident that there's no one I can't teach.

What makes my lessons unique is my ability to problem solve and adapt to the learners needs. Some students want to improve their English to be understood in day-to-day life, others want to improve their essays for college; still others are children who simply want to do well in their English class. Not everyone learns the same and I delight in these differences. They give me an opportunity to explore English from a new perspective.
Creativity and adaptivity are my methods.
A typical lesson plan for me includes a brief warm-up, such as a fun question or riddle, followed by an overview of the lesson. After that, I demonstrate some examples, have the student(s) do some examples with me, then let the students try it on their own. There is always time at the end of class for students to share their feedback with me about the lesson and what/how they would like to learn next time.
