About Oakley

I am an A-Level Student in Surrey who is looking to tutor as a part-time job while at university. I am a committed and dedicated teacher who has previous experience in working with children and teaching. I have volunteered for 8 years at my local youth group where I tutored children up to GCSEs and helped them with their homework and received many good reviews from the parents thanking me for helping their children improve their grades.

About the lesson

I teach in an active and engaging way using scientifically proven methods to help improve attention, retention, and most importantly, recall. Lessons are usually 45 mins to 1 hour (depending on availability). I am currently an A-Level Student at a College in Surrey, studying both Chemistry and the AQA Certificate in Further Maths alongside Psychology and Music looking to study Psychology at University. I have achieved Edexcel GCSEs at grades 9 in Chemistry and 8 in Maths and wish to teach at this level or below.
