I’m currently studying a MEng Civil Engineering at University of Bath. Before university I completed 3 A-levels and an EPQ. As someone who has benefitted from tutoring in the past, I know how helpful a friendly face can be to help you improve in the areas you are finding challenging in preparation for an upcoming exam.
I have been a Mathematics and Physics tutor for over 2 years now and have helped many students improve their understanding of the subject allowing them to increase their grades from C grade to A grade and higher. I have completed over 750 hours of tutoring online and so I know how to get the best out of my students.
I am also capable of teaching Design & Technology to a very high level. My lessons are tailored to each student allowing them to get the most out of each lesson. My lessons have a particular focus on exam techniques and essay styled questions. Nailing these questions is the key to getting a high mark in D.T. Having gained 100% in my GCSE D.T and 95% in my A-level D.T NEA I am also very qualified to give advice and help students with coursework.
I pay close attention to each students respective exam board, and will tailor my lessons to cater for the difference between each board. I will explore the mark schemes, and adapt my lessons to ensure the techniques I teach are specific to the requirements of the student's relevant exam board.
