About Julia

Hi, I'm Julia Schena, a biology major on the pre-med track at Denison University and a member of the track and field team, where I compete in the heptathlon. As both a student-athlete and aspiring physician, I've developed strong time management, discipline, and problem-solving skills that I bring to everything I do.

Originally from Massachusetts, I'm passionate about helping others succeed, whether that's through tutoring, mentoring, or simply being someone people can count on. I enjoy making challenging subjects more approachable and believe that patience, encouragement, and clear communication are key to building confidence.

Outside of academics and athletics, I'm an environmental sustainability enthusiast and a huge dog lover. I enjoy connecting with people, taking on new challenges, and continuously learning and growing. My goal is to make a positive impact on those around me, both inside and outside the classroom.

About the lesson

I believe math becomes much easier when it's explained clearly and tailored to each student's learning style. My goal is not just to help students solve problems, but to help them understand the concepts so they can approach future assignments and exams with confidence.

Whether you're preparing for a test, catching up in class, or looking to improve your grades, I'm patient, reliable, and committed to helping you succeed. As a current college student, I understand the challenges students face and can explain difficult topics in a way that's approachable and easy to follow.

If you're looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated to your progress, I'd love the opportunity to help you reach your academic goals.
