About Lior
Hi! I'm Lior, I was born and raised in LA, and now I'm a sophomore at Brown University. Throughout college and high school I've helped countless students in a wide range of topics succeed on their tests and essays. I'm deeply passionate about biology, math and literature, and from what I've been told, a great teacher. I'd love to help you with your studying needs!

As a current student, I know what it's like to struggle through subjects one might find challenging, and I know what it takes to succeed. My experience throughout school has lent me a real awareness of what it means to be a student and has taught me strategies to overcome academic hurdles. My tutoring style has always been to be sensitive to the student's individual learning style, and to work with the student to craft their study method. Beyond specific learning goals, I aim is to help the student develop life-long study skills.
Let's learn math (algebra, geometry, trig, precalc, calculus), science (biology, chemistry, physics), essay writing, and more, together. I can help you get that final boost for AP tests in the coming weeks (I've tutored most AP classes).
I'm also an adept SAT tutor. Having studied extensively for the test in high school (scored 1570), let me impart my hard-won SAT test-taking strategies. I've also helped countless students succeed with their personal statement and other college essays.
