About Dax
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 9 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have taught 150-200 students, helping them strengthen their English skills, gain confidence, and achieve academic and personal milestones. Teaching allows me to combine my love for education with my desire to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
My teaching philosophy is centred on interactive, practical, and personalised lessons. I use real-life examples, exercises, and discussions to develop speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. I also focus on fostering confidence, creativity, and critical thinking so students can communicate effectively in academic and real-world settings.
Some of my proudest milestones include students delivering presentations in English, writing essays confidently, improving grades, and participating actively in discussions. Witnessing these transformations inspires me to continue teaching with dedication, creativity, and patience.
I aim to create a supportive, motivating, and positive environment where students feel comfortable exploring, asking questions, and making progress. Teaching ESL is my passion, and I am committed to helping students reach their full potential while enjoying the journey of learning English.
