About Daria

My name is Dasha, I am an artist and art teacher based in London.

I have a degree in art education and over 5 years of teaching experience, working with both beginners and children.

I specialise in helping students learn drawing and painting in a clear, supportive, and structured way. My approach combines creativity with strong fundamentals, so students not only enjoy the process but also see real progress.

I guide each student step by step, helping them build confidence, develop their skills, and express their own artistic style.

About the lesson

My classes are designed for beginners and children who want to learn drawing and painting in a simple and enjoyable way.

In each lesson, you will:

* learn basic drawing and painting techniques step by step
* understand colour, composition, and materials
* create your own artwork from the first session

I teach acrylic, watercolour, and mixed media, adapting each lesson to your level and goals.

My approach is supportive and relaxed, helping you build confidence while actually improving your skills.

For children, lessons are fun, engaging, and help develop creativity and focus.

Whether you want to learn a new skill, improve your technique, or simply enjoy painting — I will guide you step by step.

I met Daria on the Camino de Santiago, and spending a few days walking alongside someone tells you a lot about them. She's warm and easy to talk to, endlessly creative, and the kind of person who genuinely wants to help others. She was like that with everyone she met on the way. She also showed me her paintings, which are beautiful. Patience, creativity and a real interest in people are exactly what make a good teacher, and she has all three. Highly recommended!
