About Jacolien
I am currently a kindergarten teacher with 7 years experience with students from 3 years up to 13 years. I graduated with a B.ED grade in Foundation Phase Education. I run a business where I am a dressmaker making beautiful garments to fit individuals perfectly. And in my spare time I like to draw pictures and discover the abilities I have inside of me.

My teaching methods change continually. Because I don't want students to get bored with an ordinary daily program. But still, I like routine and discipline because with routine the students feel secure. In my lessons I like to show visual objects, or real objects for students to use their senses. I like to make it interesting for them, finding different ways to prickle their minds so that they vind the lesson interesting and learning through the fun they have. Then they take the wonder of understanding and make it practical.
