About Judith
As a former teacher and experienced tutor, lifelong learning is important. I work to make our work interesting, relevant and enjoyable.
I am also a published writer nationally. The training and experience helps me in my tutoring work.
I have a son who works for a major computer company. I have been exposed to and learned about the world of gaming long ago.

As an experienced teacher and tutor, learning must be interesting, informative and fun (at times).
From using creative drama in a classroom and sports numbers to teach math, I strive to bring meaning to our work together.
I may start out with rote math or word recognition work since I often teach elementary math and reading. But rote word recognition often includes creative meanings and sentences.
I am also a writer and co-authored a book many years ago about using sports statistics in tutoring math. I also spent time as a newspaper and magazine sportswriter. This added career has included magazine writing and has helped in language tutoring.
I mainly teach elementary students but also have experience with adult education through a community college and workforce board. Sharing knowledge in a creative way and a sense of humor work for many.
